JAN. 6 HEARING

Our elected officials spent weeks arguing, posturing, wrangling and politicizing the selection of the members of the House committee tasked with ascertaining the truth of what most of us saw with our own eyes.

Are we, as a nation, so oblivious to the reality of what happened at the Capitol on Jan. 6 that we have to conduct an inquiry?

The media would better serve the American public by running a video loop of the former president’s speech followed by its fruition in the form of the insurrectionist attack on the Capitol and on those persons charged with its protection. – Allan B. Marks,
