STANDING FIRM

I am so proud the Broward County School Board has stood its ground against Gov. DeSantis. As a parent, I want the least interruption to my children’s education as possible, and for the pandemic to end. Masks and vaccines will help that. It is also fair to ask parents to provide a doctor’s note if the parent does not want their child to wear the mask.

DeSantis is fueling the fire of misinformation and distrust by questioning the efficacy of masks. This is government overreach while wasting money and time and further dividing citizens.
