SURFSIDE TRAGEDY
I thank Linda Robertson, Connie Ogle and everyone on the Miami Herald’s staff for continuing to honor the 98 victims of the Surfside tower collapse.
The reporting and presentation of these beautiful multi-generational families in the Sept. 19 story, “A Neighborhood Lost,” are heart-wrenching and compelling.
The tragedies were put into context, and we learned more about what happened.
We felt connected to the individual families through positive and hopeful comments such as, “The Lozanos were inseparable in life and in death. Their story, like so many at Champlain South, was one of family devotion.”
The writing is exquisite and a tribute to these beautiful people. Their names and memories live on. – Norma Rosenfeld,
