TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS
8PM
(LIFE) Married at First Sight
After an eight-week ride on an emotional rollercoaster, the journey is coming to an end for four Boston couples, who must confront the biggest decision of their lives in the season finale, “Got My Mind Made Up.” That episode title notwithstanding, though, several members of this group are far from certain about whether they want to stay married or get a divorce and part ways. Tears, ultimatums and some surprising revelations ensue.
8:30 PM The Wonder Years
Dean (Elisha Williams) tries desperately to impress Keisa’s (Milan Ray) cool new boyfriend by inviting him and his friends over for a party his sister Kim (Laura Kariuki) is throwing while their parents (Dulé Hill, Saycon Sengbloh) are out for the night in the new episode “Where No Dean Has Been Before.” Predictably, things start to get out of hand just as Bill and Linda are due home, forcing Dean to make a painful admission.
9PM NOVA Sir David Attenborough hosts this new two-part special episode on how dinosaurs became extinct. Filmed over the course of three years, the first part, “Dinosaur Apocalypse: The New Evidence,” follows paleontologist Robert DePalma and his team as they explore a fossil dig site in the Badlands of North Dakota, where their finds include an incredibly rare fossilized egg with the embryo of a flying reptile called a pterosaur still inside. Then, “Dinosaur Apocalypse: The Last Day” shows the team discovering tiny pieces of the deathdealing asteroid that wiped out the dinosaurs.
9 PM Chicago Fire A family friend turns to Herrmann (David Eigenberg) for his advice on opening a bar in the new episode “Halfway to the Moon.” Elsewhere, tensions approach the boiling point between
Emma and Violet (Caitlin Carver, Hanako Greensmith), while Kidd (Miranda Rae Mayo) has a hard time keeping her team together. Taylor Kinney, Christian Stolte and Joe Minoso also star.
