Lisa and Lenny Hochstein to divorce. Both release statements
The rumors were true:
It’s over between “Real Housewives of Miami’s” Lisa and Lenny Hochstein.
The Star Island couple who stars on the Peacock reality reboot together, were married 12 years and have two children, Logan, 6, and Elle, 2.
Plastic surgeon Lenny Hochstein, aka Boob God, confirmed the unfortunate news to Page Six:
“Lisa and I are getting divorced,” the 55-year-old told the outlet. “A few weeks ago, I denied this because because I am trying my best to protect my family during this process. This is a very difficult time, and I would ask for some privacy so that we can best take care of our children who mean the world to us.”
Hochstein also confirmed he has already moved on. His current lady love is Austrian model Katharina Mazepa, 26.
Hochstein and Mazepa were spotted openly canoodling in a video taken outside Prime 112 in South Beach Sunday night.
“None of this happened until after the decision was made to get divorced,” Hochstein added.
According to MiamiDade County Court records, no divorce has been filed by either party.
Lisa Hochstein, 39, does not seem to be taking the situation well, releasing a statement Monday.
“With two young children involved, as a mom I’m going to focus all of my energy and time on them,” the native Canadian said. “I’m blindsided by his behavior and reckless handling
of the situation.”
Last week, the split rumors were rumbling after Lisa reportedly confronted her estranged husband at the new nightclub Gala, where he was allegedly with Mazepa.
A Gala spokesperson told Miami.com that the club can confirm the Hochsteins were at Gala last Saturday night, but would provide no other details.
In the Peacock reality show earlier this year, Lisa confessed that she came close to divorce years ago when Lenny Hochstein engaged in an “emotional affair.” That woman’s identity was never revealed.
Neither party has posted anything about the split on social media. Pictures of them as a couple with their children on both Instagram
pages remain.
Hochstein’s medical website also still features Lisa on the homepage.
Some years back, the Hochsteins made headlines for a different reason: The reality stars won the right to tear down a historic 1920s architect Walter DeGarmo mansion to build their current mansion in 2014. Who will get that lavish 20,000square-foot home in the divorce remains to be seen.
We imagine Lisa will want it. The influencer recently told Bravo the waterfront manse has “the most amazing closet ever... It’s almost like my own art collection.”
“The best part about this house is the space,” she said of the party pad. “If these walls could talk, they’d have a lot to say.”
