Season 3 of this spooky fantasy series reboot follows an all-new Midnight Society as they go on what they thought would be a carefree summer vacation on a resort island, only to discover something sinister is haunting the guests at their hotel. In the two-hour season premiere, the four close-knit friends have barely checked into their accommodations before discovering some of the chills awaiting them. The new cast includes Telci Huynh, Conor Sherry, Luca Padovan, Dior Goodjohn and Chance Hurstfield.
8PM (HALL) MOVIE A Splash of Love In this 2022 romance, a Ph.D. candidate decides on a whim to expand the focus of her studies to include the behavior of whales in the Pacific Northwest. During the course of her work in this picturesque new environment, she meets a tour guide on one of the area’s many whale-watching boats. As they spend time together, it’s not long before the couple start bonding over more than just orcas. Rhiannon Fish (“The 100”) and Ben Hollingsworth (“Virgin River”) star.
8PM (LIFE) Flowers in the Attic: The Origin This miniseries prequel concludes with “Part 4: The Martyr,” which sees Olivia (Jemima Rooper), having lost the love of all her children, becoming the most terrifying version of herself imaginable, driven by twisted religious beliefs and a desire to wreak vengeance on everyone around her. It is this monstrous matriarch who is perfectly capable of locking her grandchildren in the attic when her daughter returns in the wake of yet another family tragedy.
9PM (HIST) American Pickers The new episode “Pool Hall Picking” finds host Mike Wolfe in Louisiana, where a seasoned collector and his grandson open the doors to their trove in what used to be a pool hall. While Mike uncovers such prizes as a very rare pinball machine, his brother Robbie and Jersey Jon are in Mississippi scouring a sprawling property that includes multiple outbuildings and what looks to be a century’s worth of rusty cars.
