8PM (LIFE) MOVIE The Bad Seed Returns After the homicidal events that left her father (Rob Lowe) dead, Emma (Mckenna Grace), now 15, is living with her aunt, Angela (Michelle
Morgan), and navigating high school challenges in this new follow-up to the 2018 remake of the classic thriller “The Bad Seed.” This temporary veneer of normalcy is about to crack, though, as Angela’s husband, Robert (Benjamin Ayres), starts to suspect Emma may not be as innocent as she appears. Kat (Ella Dixon), a new girl at school, also may know some of Emma’s past secrets.
9PM Beat Shazam The Season 5 finale “Shake Your Pom Poms!” is looking for a team to take home yet another $1 million prize. Hosted by Academy Award-winning actor Jamie Foxx, the game show pits teams of two against the clock — and each other — in an attempt to identify the biggest hit songs of all time. In the end, the team with the highest score will outlast the competition and go against Shazam, the popular song identification app, for the chance to win up to one million dollars. Deejay Corinne Foxx also appears.
9PM G In the Dark Murphy (Perry Mattfeld) copes with all she’s learned by distracting herself with a new motivational exercise: getting even. Meanwhile, Felix (Morgan Krantz) attempts to help her find other ways to deal with her emotions, but like anything with Murphy, it’s an uphill battle that can come back to bite you. And Josh (Theo Bhat) is smug as he slowly puts together how the night unfolded, until he realizes that it’s not over yet in the series finale “Please Shine Down on Me.”
9PM (FOOD) Bobby and Sophie on the Coast Bobby Flay and his daughter Sophie check out the culinary scene in the super cool beach towns around Los Angeles. From Malibu to Venice to Playa del Rey, they visit inventive chefs taking advantage of the area’s abundance of fresh seafood. Then, Bobby cooks up a beach-inspired meal of grilled oysters, rockfish and prawns broiled in his outdoor oven in the new episode “Taste of the Beach.”
