The long-awaited eight-episode Season 3 premiere is finally here with two back-to-back episodes. Based on “The Amber Spyglass,” the final novel in Philip Pullman’s award-winning trilogy, the epic fantasy series follows Lyra (Dafne Keen), the prophesied child, and Will (Amir Wilson), the bearer of The Subtle Knife, as they journey to a dark place from which no one has ever returned. As her father’s great war against the Authority edges closer, they will learn that saving the world comes at a terrible price.

9PM (MAGN) Maine Cabin Masters Few things are better than a camp in Maine. Kristin’s family has owned this cabin for five generations, but now would like to add on to the kitchen and raise the roof to comfortably fit her husband and son, and add more square footage for their daughter to enjoy the space with ease. So she has called Chase Morrill, Ashley Morrill, Ryan Eldridge and the rest of the Cabin Masters to make it ready for future generations.

10 PM That’s My Jam Jimmy Fallon hosts a holiday-themed special episode of the hit music and variety series with “Saturday Night Live” fan-favorite cast members Fred Armisen, Rachel Dratch, Ana Gasteyer and Melissa Villasenor. They compete for charity in a night of festive music-based games, performances and musical impressions. It’s the perfect way to celebrate the season with joyful performances and holiday versions of new and beloved games inspired by “The Tonight Show.”
