NBA trades: Hield, Olynyk, Hayward, Dinwoodie on move

The Indiana Pacers reportedly are sending shooting guard Buddy Hield to the Philadelph­ia 76ers in exchange for forward Marcus Morris, shooting guard Furkan Korkmaz and three second-round picks, according to multiple reports Thursday.

Hield, 31, is in the final year of a four-year, $94 million contract and reportedly has said he was open to a trade.

In 52 games (28 starts) this season for the Pacers, Hield is averaging 12.0 points, 3.2 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 0.8 steals — all below his career averages.

In another trade, the Pacers are acquiring forward Doug McDermott from the San Antonio Spurs, ESPN and The Athletic reported. San Antonio will receive forward Marcus Morris Sr., a second-round pick and cash in the deal, per The Athletic’s report. Morris is expected to be bought out by the Spurs.

In other trades announced Thursday, former Heat big man Kelly Olynyk reportedly has been acquired by the Toronto Raptors in a multi-player deal with the Utah Jazz, according to multiple reports. Along with Olynyk, the Jazz reportedly are sending shooting guard

The Oklahoma City Thunder and Charlotte Hornets were putting the finishing touches on a trade that would send forward Gordon Hayward to Oklahoma City, ESPN reported. Per the report, the Hornets will receive guard Tre Mann,

forward Davis Bertans,

point guard Vasilije Micic

and unspecifie­d draft compensati­on once the deal is complete. Hayward, 33, is battling a left calf injury and has not played since Dec. 26. At the time, the team said he’d be out at least two weeks, but the Hornets haven’t provided an updated timeline.

The New York Knicks are acquiring forward Bojan Bogdanovic and guard Alec Burks from the Detroit Pistons, ESPN reported. Per the report, the Pistons will receive guards Quentin Grimes, Evan Fournier, Malachi Flynn and Ryan Arcidiacon­o, as well as two future second-round draft picks.

The Toronto Raptors are acquiring guard Spencer Dinwiddie from the Brooklyn Nets in exchange for guard Dennis Schroder and forward Thaddeus Young, ESPN reported. Dinwiddie, 30, started 48 games for Brooklyn and is averaging 12.6 points, 6.0 assists, 3.3 rebounds. He is shooting 39.1 percent from the field and 32 percent from beyond the arc.

The Dallas Mavericks are acquiring forward/ center P.J. Washington

from the Charlotte Hornets, ESPN and The Athletic reported. Dallas will send forward Grant Williams, guard Seth Curry and a 2027 first-round draft pick to the Hornets, per the reports. The Athletic reported that Charlotte also will send two secondroun­d picks to the Mavericks as part of the deal.

The Milwaukee Bucks traded veteran forward Robin Lopez to the Sacramento Kings for cash considerat­ions; he will likely be waived, allowing him to become a free agent.

Elsewhere: The Los Angeles Lakers were expected to dedicate a statue of franchise icon Kobe Bryant on Thursday outside their home, Crypto. com Arena. The date of the ceremony — 2/8 — is symbolic.
