Dodgers rally in 8th, down Padres to open season in South Korea

Reds: Cincinnati second baseman Matt McLain is being evaluated for a shoulder injury that could require surgery. Manager David Bell said Wednesday that “all of the options are on the table” after an MRI on McLain’s left shoulder.

McLain, 24, made his MLB debut in 2023 and batted .290 with 16 homers, 50 RBI and 14 steals in 89 games.
