There’s only one Jon Taffer.

The straight-talking businessman has been the host of “Bar Rescue” since it began airing on Spike TV in 2011, helping countless failing establishments get it together.

But now Taffer is the one who needs help, from a judge.

In a lawsuit filed in federal court, the reality star claims that for about three years now, a Florida man has been hitting up bars around the Naples area pretending to be him.

Named in the suit is Vic Caroleo, who bears a striking resemblance to Taffer but has nothing to do with bar management. He’s actually a New York-born preacher with a presence on TikTok.

“Vic Caroleo gave his life to Christ over 35 years ago. Since then, God has used him strategically in the workplace in both unique and effective ways,” says a description on his eponymous website.

Taffer says that Caroleo not only impersonates him, but that the also dude has gone a step further, picking up women in the persona of Taffer and obtaining credit cards in his name.

A concerned fan reportedly contacted Taffer’s representatives in January to alert him that she went out with Caroleo at Vergina’s restaurant in Naples thinking he was the famous version.

Their date raised flags after Caroleo became “extremely touchy” and refused to show her his driver’s license, she said.

This past week on Instagram, Taffer, who is being repped by Kodak Black’s lawyer Bradford Cohen, posted the TMZ story to alert his followers. Many showed their support by writing in the comments his signature phrase: “Shut it down!”

The Miami Herald reached out to Cohen for comment on the case but did not immediately hear back.
