THANKS TO TWO SLIMMING NEW TREATMENTS FROM CHICAGO DOCTORS, GETTING YOUR ULTIMATE BEACH BOD JUST GOT A WHOLE LOT EASIER.

Thanks to slimming new treatments from Chicago doctors, getting your ultimate beach bod just got a whole lot easier.

Rocking a bathing suit after months of winter layering can be daunting, but two Windy City physicians are aiming to change that. Plastic surgeon Dr. Steven Bloch of Body by Bloch (1160 Park Ave. W., No. 2E, Highland Park, 847432-0840; bodybybloch.com) suggests Ultrashape Power, an Fda-approved ultrasound device that targets fat in those hard-to-lose places, for patients who exercise and eat well but are still 10 to 20 pounds overweight. The non-invasive procedure is administered in a series of three treatments spaced two weeks apart, and is especially effective on the stomach. “In one treatment you can treat both the upper and lower abdomen very evenly and effectively,” says Bloch.

But what about pesky cellulite you just can’t get rid of? Designed by Dr. Dan Krochmal of MAE Plastic Surgery (1535 Lake Cook Road, Ste. 211, Northbrook, 847-205-1680; mae plasticsurgery.com), Cellulite Rigotomy and Fat Transfer (CRAFT) addresses the crater-like dimples found on the buttocks and upper thigh area caused by a dense band “that has probably been present since birth,” says Krochmal. “But, as you gain weight over time, or gravity starts to kick [in], you start to see the effects.” Dr. Krochmal teases the cellulite band with a small needle until it releases, then injects fat from another part of the body to bring volume to the area with cellulite. “Women tend to like it because they’re getting liposuction in the target areas and smoother buttocks,” says Krochmal. Did someone say pool party?
