Fes­ti­val Set To Light Up Kapolei

The lights of Christ­mas are be­gin­ning to shine brightly on the west side as the 10th an­nual West Oahu Hol­i­day Fes­ti­val kicks off the sea­son this Satur­day in Kapolei.

This hol­i­day event is high­lighted by many fes­tive ac­tiv­i­ties and sights for on­look­ers to en­joy, in­clud­ing a fire­works dis­play at dusk and a Street Block Party start­ing at 5 p.m.

An Elec­tric Light Pa­rade be­gins at 6 p.m. at Kapolei Hale, where Santa and plenty of Christ­mas-themed marchers will stroll down Far­ring­ton High­way to Kealanani Av­enue. They will then meet up with the block party on Ulu­o­hia Street, where there will be a va­ri­ety of food booths, keiki games, a visit from Santa and en­ter­tain­ment by the Ewa Ele­men­tary School Choir and B.E.T. till 9:30 p.m.
