6:30 p.m. BBCA The EE British Academy Film Awards 2016 From London’s Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, Stephen Fry returns to host the 69th edition of the British Academy Film Awards, popularly known as the BAFTAs. “Bridge of Spies” and “Carol” lead this year’s pack of nominees with nine nods each; “The Revenant” is up in eight categories, trailed by “Mad Max: Fury Road” with seven. Swedish actress Alicia Vikander is nominated in the categories of both best actress (for “The Danish Girl”) and best supporting actress (for “Ex Machina”).

7 p.m. WISN The Bachelor at 20: A Celebratio­n of Love What better day could there be than Valentine’s Day for a “Bachelor” wedding — with none other than Chris Harrison officiatin­g? That’s the centerpiec­e of this new special, as “Bachelor in Paradise” alums Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert tie the knot. Other familiar faces of the franchise are in attendance, including Trista and Ryan Sutter, Kaitlyn Bristowe, Jason Mesnick, Andi Dorfman

and Ali Fedotowsky ... helping to commemorat­e the parent show’s 20 seasons.

8 p.m. WTMJ The Tonight Show Valentine’s Day Special Jimmy Fallon has been having an extremely good run in the late-night hours, but NBC takes the occasion of Feb. 14 to bring him into primetime for a showcase of talk and comedy with particular relevance to romance. Within that framework, expect to see some of the regular segments that have been making Fallon’s tenure as the steward of the network’s flagship after-hours program so successful.

8 p.m. AMC The Walking Dead The blockbuste­r horror drama resumes new episodes with its winter premiere, “No Way Out,” in which the survivors find themselves in a new landscape where they’ll need to pose a credible threat themselves in order to claim their place. Many fans look forward to the latter half of Season 6, which will see the arrival of two new characters: the villain Negan, played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan, and Jesus (British actor Tom Payne), a bearded survivor with the fighting skills of a ninja.

8 p.m. HALL Movie: Anything for Love Katherine (Erika Christense­n), a driven female executive, thinks men find her intimidati­ng, so a friend persuades her to create an online dating profile identifyin­g her as an executive assistant. She’s matched with Jack (Paul Greene, “Bitten”), a male nurse who only belatedly discovers his best friend secretly changed his online profession to doctor. Romance blooms, with Katherine and Jack both trying to hide their true identities. That gets complicate­d, in this new 2016 romantic comedy.

8 p.m. HBO Vinyl Mick Jagger and Martin Scorsese are among the executive producers of this new drama series set inside the recording industry, primarily as viewed by Richie Finestra (Bobby Cannavale), founder of American Century Records. The “Pilot” opens in 1973 New York, where Richie mulls selling his struggling company to a German label. That deal is complicate­d by an assortment of temperamen­tal artists and managers, however. Olivia Wilde, Andrew Dice Clay, Ato Essandoh and Juno Temple also star.
