Sanders, Trump represent change
The pundits are finally getting the message. Americans are tired of gridlock.
Eight years ago, the Republicans decided that the way to destroy President Barack Obama and his agenda was to oppose him at every opportunity. They did, and the American people have voiced their opinion of that Republican plan. Eight years ago, the Democrats hoped that the election of Obama would mark the beginning of a new era. It did not, and the American people have voiced their opinion of what needs to change.
We have once more proven that as individuals we have a brain and know when someone is lying. We are ready for something new. Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump represent that change. No more political control by big money. No more favored tax treatment for the already wealthy. No more manipulation of health care. No more foreign intervention when conflicts involve local or regional politics. No more talk about abortion or the elimination of Social Security and Medicare.
More talk about providing for America’s citizens and bringing our education system back to No. 1 in the world — from No. 27. No more talk about unions being the problem. No more talk about teachers being less important than football players or hedge fund managers.
Thank you, New Hampshire, and fellow Americans.
