The Vikings’ Harrison Smith will likely play Sunday, but running back Adrian Peterson won’t.
Green Bay — There’s a better than 50-50 chance the Minnesota Vikings will have Pro Bowl safety Harrison Smith when they take on the Green Bay Packers on Saturday at Lambeau Field.
And for the Packers, linebacker Nick Perry (hand) might be back as well.
Early in the week, it looked like Smith might miss a third straight game, but he was a full participant in practice Friday and was listed as questionable on the final injury report.
The Vikings won’t have running back Adrian Peterson (knee/groin) or guard Brandon Fusco (concussion), both of whom were declared out. Receiver Stefon Diggs (hip) was is questionable.
For the Packers, Perry was listed as questionable after working this week with a large padded club on his left hand.
Quarterback Aaron Rodgers (calf) and linebacker Clay Matthews (shoulder) were not given a status, meaning they are 100% expected to play. Guards T.J. Lang (back) and Lane Taylor (hip) were not listed, either.
Outside linebacker Jayrone Elliott (finger) and running back James Starks (concussion) are out.
Vikings’ plane slides: The Vikings spent more than three hours on an airplane Friday after a rear wheel on the plane’s landing gear slid off the taxiway.
Abe Weber, director of Appleton International Airport, said the Airbus A330 landed safely and was taxiing to the arrival gate around 5:10 p.m. when the incident happened.
Passengers were escorted off the plane around 8:20 p.m. No one was injured.
The Vikings tweeted from their official account around 7:15 p.m. confirming the team was on the plane.
