GAME REPORT

- Charles F. Gardner

THREE TAKEAWAYS

1. Bucks coach Jason Kidd went back to his small guard rotation featuring Jason Terry, Rashad Vaughn and Matthew Dellavedova, with rookie Malcolm Brogdon sidelined for a second straight night. Dellavedova hit 3 of 4 three-point attempts in the first half. Vaughn scored eight points in the fourth quarter and played a key role as he finished with 10 points.

2. Brogdon said he injured his back Monday night in Philadelphia on a non-contact play. “It was just a wrong step or a wrong twist,” Brogdon said. “It wasn’t anything significant. Just something I have to let heal; take my time.” Brogdon said he expects to travel with the Bucks on their six-game trip that begins Monday in Memphis, but he wasn’t sure when he would return to action.

3. The Bucks held their fifth consecutive opponent to 100 points or fewer. A key was limiting the Timberwolves to 5-of-13 shooting from three-point range.
