Isaiah Thomas scored 33 points, and the Boston Celtics beat the host Chicago Bulls, 104-95, on Sunday to tie their firstround playoff series at 2all.

Boston blew a 20-point lead, but Thomas keyed a third-quarter run that put the Celtics back on top after Chicago briefly went ahead.

Gerald Green made 4 three-pointers on his way to 18 points, helping the top-seeded Celtics return the favor in Chicago after dropping the first two games at home.

Jimmy Butler carried the Bulls with 33 points and nine assists. Nikola Mirotic and seldom-used Isaiah Canaan each scored 13 points, but Dwyane Wade finished with just 11.

Cavaliers 106, Pacers 102: LeBron James made a three-pointer with 68 seconds left and Cleveland hung on for a seriesclinching victory at Indiana.

James finished with 33 points and 10 rebounds as he became the first player under the current playoff format to win 21 straight firstround games. He also set a league record with his 10th career playoff sweep.

Lance Stephenson scored 22 points for the Pacers and Paul George added 15 but missed a three-pointer that could have forced overtime in the closing seconds.

Rockets 113, Thunder 109: Nene scored 28 points on perfect shooting from the field, and Houston beat host Oklahoma City to take a 3-1 lead in their first-round playoff series.

Nene made all 12 of his shots and had 10 rebounds. He helped the Rockets overcome an off night by James Harden, who finished with 16 points on 5-for-16 shooting.

Kerr to miss game: Ailing Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr says he won’t be on the sideline for Game 4 on Monday against the Portland Trail Blazers because of symptoms stemming from back surgery.

Kerr stayed behind at the team hotel for Saturday night’s Game 3 at Portland’s Moda Center. Assistant Mike Brown took over and the Warriors overcame a 17point first-half deficit to win, 119-113.

The reigning NBA coach of the year still experiences lingering symptoms from complications following two back surgeries after the franchise’s run to the 2015 championship. He missed the first 43 games last season dealing with symptoms such as headaches, nausea and an aching neck.

Rondo fined: The NBA fined Chicago Bulls guard Rajon Rondo $25,000 for attempting to trip Boston’s Jae Crowder from the bench in Game 3 of their series.

The incident happened with 31.1 seconds remaining in the first quarter on Friday.

Crowder jawed at the Bulls’ bench after hitting a jumper and Rondo — sidelined by a broken right thumb — extended his leg as Crowder walked by. Rondo said afterward he was simply stretching his leg.
