Tyler Flowers hit a go-ahead three-run home run off Matt Albers in the ninth inning and Atlanta came from three runs down to beat Washington and snap a three-game skid. Matt Adams hit a pair of homers, including one of starter Stephen Strasburg.

PIRATES 7, Rockies 2

Jameson Taillon pitched five scoreless innings in his return from treatments for testicular cancer and the Pirates beat the Rockies. Josh Harrison, David Freese and Jose Osuna each had two hits for the Pirates.

RED SOX, Phillies (late)

Drew Pomeranz was tagged for six runs and eight hits in 4 1⁄3 innings, snapping his career-best three-game winning streak during the Red Sox’s loss to the Tigers Sunday night. Daniel Nava homered for the Phillies, who have dropped five in a row after losing to the Cardinals on Sunday.

METS 6, Cubs 1

Jacob deGrom pitched a five-hitter, Asdrubal Cabrera atoned for an embarrassi­ng error by lining two home runs and turning four double plays, and the Mets beat the Cubs.

WHITE SOX, Orioles (late)

The White Sox have dropped nine of 11 games after losing to the Indians on Sunday. The Orioles are coming off a loss in New York to the Yankees on Sunday.

TWINS, Mariners (late)

Eduardo Escobar and Byron Buxton homered for Minnesota in Sunday’s loss to San Francisco. Seattle was shut out for the sixth time, as the Mariners loss to the Blue Jays Sunday.

ASTROS, Rangers (late)

Houston is coming off a loss to the Angels on Sunday. By the end of the eighth, the Rangers had rallied on just one hit, aided by an error and a passed ball in Sunday’s loss to the Nationals.

ANGELS, Yankees (late)

Albert Pujols homered early and Eric Young Jr. had a career-high four RBIs, including a three-run shot in a six-run fifth inning and the Angels rallied for a win over the Astros on Sunday. Aaron Judge hit two home runs to push his major league lead to 21 home runs to lead the Yankees over the Orioles Sunday afternoon.

PADRES, Reds (late)

Alex Gordon, Eric Hosmer and Mike Moustakas homered for the Royals to lead Kansas City past the Padres Sunday afternoon. Adam Duvall, Scott Schebler, Joey Votto and Devin Mesoraco homered for Cincinnati in Sunday’s loss to the Dodgers.
