Three injured in separate shootings

Three people were injured in three separate shootings early Monday in Milwaukee, according to Milwaukee police.

One shooting occurred around 12:15 a.m. in the 2800 block of N. 7th St. A 43-year-old man was shot while inside a parked vehicle, police said.

A 23-year-old woman was injured in another shooting at 12:15 a.m. in the 2200 block of W. Orchard St. The circumstan­ces of the shooting aren’t clear, police said.

A third shooting occurred around 2:20 a.m. in the 2500 block of S. 9th St. A 25-year-old man was driving in the area when shots were fired into his vehicle, according to police.

All three were taken to hospitals. Police are still looking for motives and suspects.

On Monday, police also identified the victim of an Aug. 11 homicide in the 1500 block of S. 25th St. as Crystal Leopold, 24. A 27year-old man is in custody, police said.
