THE DISH TELLING IT TO YOU STRAIGHT
“GoodFellas” and “Shades of Blue” star Ray Liotta will be chicken chain KFC’s next colonel, replacing actor Rob Lowe.
The actor portrays founder Colonel Harland Sanders in a new ad campaign in which he can’t decide whether sweet and tangy Georgia Gold honey mustard BBQ chicken or spicy and smoky Nashville Hot chicken is authentic Southern flavor. He argues both sides and appears to start to hallucinate. The two chicken dishes are part of KFC’s new line of regional flavors it’s introducing throughout the U.S.
According to the company, Liotta was hired “for his celebrated ability to play multifaceted characters.”
The ads begin airing on Sunday.
Kaia Gerber has officially made her New York Fashion Week debut.
The 16year-old model who bears an incredible resemblance to her supermodel mom, Cindy Crawford, took to the Calvin Klein catwalk Thursday.
With natural-looking makeup and tousled chestnut locks, Gerber modeled canary-yellow pants and a black and white, long-sleeve button-up shirt over a blue turtleneck.
The teen’s debut was teased Wednesday by fellow model and friend Karlie Kloss, who predicted Gerber would take her first New York Fashion Week “by storm.”
Following her appearance, the excited teen shared a shot from the show on Instagram.
“There are no words to describe how I feel,” the caption read, also including the model’s love for Raf Simons, creative director for the brand.
