SOUNDING OFF...
Lacy considering Lambeau Leap if he scores TD
Robb Christenson: Is he planning on having a crane assist with the leap? Neal Richter: If someone is eating a cheeseburger where he goes in to the stands, he’ll never go back on the field.
Bucks waive Spencer Hawes, stretch his contract
Larry Griebenow: That’s why he’s called a “stretch” four? Kenneth Marshall: Well, at, least they made one personnel move this off-season John Robertson: Adding back Jabari and continued growth of Maker and Brogdon makes Bucks #3 in Eastern Conference.
Packers add defensive lineman Dial
Patrick G Colloton: TT has finally shown a sense of urgency to win now by doing what so many have advocated for years. Signing selected FA’s to fill areas of weakness. Didn’t break the bank with huge contracts either. Can’t really use draft and develop exclusively to fill all holes but TT stubbornly held out. Haven’t heard from those who’ve argued for years that doing exactly what he’s done is a big mistake. Good moves and about time. Joe Garbarino: Glad to see it and the other moves like it. Hopefully it pays off as many of us have claimed it will. Randall Schreurs: The 7th fa signing this offseason. No denying TT has been more active in FA, although half of them seem to be role players. With R WIlson being healthy again, looks like our guys will have their hands full on Sun. Toni Toney: Someone in Green Bay must have told TT that he can build the team to win now or leave as it must disturb him to part with his coveted draftees and then sign these free agents. Imagine if instead of just drafting and developing TT used the whole toolbox?
