Madison: State Capitol 100 Year Gala. Celebrate the Capitol's centennial at this gala Nov. 8. The event takes place from 6:30 to 10 p.m. and

The Highground honors veterans Nov. 11 beginning at noon with a reading of names of those killed in action followed by a ceremony for veterans at 3 p.m. There will also be a raffle. Festival. Wineries along the Great River Road will pair holiday foods and wines during this festival Nov. 11-12.
