Tickets are on sale for In Celebration of Chocolate, the three-day culinary event at the Destination Kohler resort in Kohler Feb. 16 to 18 with seminars, tastings and chocolate-focused meals.
Among the events:
Anette Righi DeFendi, head chocolatier of Kohler Original Recipe Chocolates, will lead four sessions pairing chocolate with wine, spirits, cheese and Kohler’s own chocolate brandies.
Nicolas Blouin, the resort’s executive pastry chef, will lead an interactive demonstration creating a chocolate sphere to make hot chocolate and a demonstration of a chocolate mousse trio.
A wine dinner Feb. 16 at the American Club will serve five chocolate-inspired courses with wine ($145, including tax and tip), and a party, Sugar High, the night of Feb. 17 will let guests sample and mingle in the Kohler Design Center.
