‘Come From Away’ to land at Marcus

“Come From Away,” the upbeat musical about the ways a small Newfoundla­nd town embraced thousands of airline passengers diverted there after Sept. 11, will be part of the Marcus Center’s 2018-’19 Broadway musicals season.

The next season of touring musicals will also include fresh production­s of “Fiddler on the Roof” and “The Phantom of the Opera” as well as an encore visit by “The Book of Mormon.”

Six-show and seven-show (including “Phantom”) subscripti­on packages are on sale, with the option of adding “Mormon” to either kind of package.

The Marcus Center previously announced that a national tour of “Hamilton” will be part of its 2019-’20 season. It suggests the best way to guarantee tickets to “Hamilton” is to purchase Broadway season subscripti­ons for 2018-’19. guaranteei­ng the right to renew seats for the 2019-’20 season, which would include “Hamilton.”

Here’s a list of the Associated Bank Broadway at the Marcus Center’s 2018’19 shows. All will take place at the Marcus Center’s Uihlein Hall, 929 N. Water St.:

“Something Rotten!,” Oct. 16-21. Fans of both Monty Python and Shakespear­e may enjoy the adventures of the Bottom brothers, who try to invent musical comedy in the Renaissanc­e.

“Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical,” Nov. 2025. This musical staging of the Seuss classic includes the memorable “You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch.”

“The Book of Mormon,” Jan. 2-6. The irreverent musical from Trey Parker, Robert Lopez and Matt Stone returns.

“Fiddler on the Roof,” Feb. 12-17, 2019. In this restaging of the classic musical, Israeli choreograp­her Hofesh Shechter brings a fresh take on the show’s dance and movement.

“The Phantom of the Opera,” March 6-17, 2019. A cast and orchestra of 52 people will perform this redesigned and restaged production.

“The King and I,” April 9-14, 2019. This national touring production is based on the 2015 Tony-winning revival.

“Come From Away,” May 7-12,

2019.

“Anastasia,” July 23-28, 2019. Based on a 1997 film, this musical imagines that the youngest daughter of Tsar Nicholas II might have escaped the murder of her family by Bolshevik secret police in 1918.
