Here’s another sign of spring. Starting Friday, the Realtors Home & Garden Show digs in at the Exposition Center at Wisconsin State Fair Park, 8200 W. Greenfield Ave., West Allis. There’ll be more than 350 exhibitors with home-improvement, landscaping and other ideas, as well as culinary demonstrations and a garden promenade. The Home & Garden Show runs through March 31 (although it’s closed Monday and Tuesday).; This weekend’s hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $8, free for kids 11 and younger.

Shatner’s latest frontier: Milwaukee
Captain Kirk himself, William Shatner, will be on hand Saturday night at the Riverside Theater, 116 W. Wisconsin Ave., for a screening of “Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan.” After the movie, Shatner, who turned 87 Thursday, will take audience questions and tell stories about the making of the movie. The movie starts at 7:30 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are $49 to $69, with a $150 VIP meetand-greet package available. Patsy Cline returns to Stackner
Kelly Faulkner returns as country chanteuse Patsy Cline in “Always … Patsy Cline” at the Milwaukee Repertory Theater’s Stackner Cabaret, 108 E. Wells St. The song-centric production, very popular in its first run at the Stackner (starring Faulkner) in 2012, begins with previews Friday and Saturday (Friday’s is already sold out, according to the Rep) and formally opening Sunday. A ‘bots bonanza
The robots have taken over the UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena this week for the FIRST Robotics Wisconsin Regional, in which high school student teams compete using technology and engineering skills to build ’bots to confront a specific challenge. Homer-bound at art museum
The Milwaukee Art Museum’s monthly MAM After Dark cotillion has a British theme, tied to the museum’s big new exhibit, “Coming Away: Winslow Homer and England.” The itinerary includes indoor croquet, foosball, an art scavenger hunt, 1980s music and more. Making a sap of yourself
It can be a sweet gig: Wehr Nature Center, 9701 W. College Ave., Franklin, hosts the 42nd annual Maple Sugar Days from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, with a hike, sugaring demonstrations, hands-on activities and more.
