Core Creative acquires digital agency GS Design
Core Creative, a Milwaukee-based branding and marketing company, announced Tuesday it has acquired GS Design, a digital agency.
As a part of the acquisition, GS Design closed its Glendale office and will integrate its digital expertise with Core Creative’s branding and marketing services.
GS Design Principal Jason Evans will stay with the company to aid in the integration process and help determine future growth opportunities. Majority owner Marc Tebon left GS Design to pursue other interests, according to a statement from Core Creative.
Starting June 1, eight GS Design employees with experience in digital areas such as software engineering, front-end development and user experience joined Core Creative’s 45-person staff.
“We have a perfect fit of cultures, values and a commitment to service that makes this the right decision for building our strategic development and creative digital firepower,” Core Creative President Ward Alles said in a statement. “This is an opportunity for our agency to welcome an incredible set of professionals and take a big step forward.”
Beth Crivello-Wagner, vice president of brand services for Core Creative, said the acquisition will strengthen the firm’s digital capabilities and will allow the company to integrate digital strategy with its existing branding and marketing services.
“We have been working on growing our company from a digital standpoint for a while,” Crivello-Wagner said. “This was the perfect opportunity at the perfect time.”
Core Creative hopes the acquisition will help the firm provide more comprehensive services and lead to future growth.
“This will help us position ourselves for the future growth and strengthen our foundation to serve our clients,” Crivello-Wagner said.
