Where to watch World Cup final
France and Croatia square off Sunday in the World Cup finals. You can watch it at home — the match is airing live on Fox and Telemundo — or you can watch it with people who really love their soccer.
One of them is likely more fun.
If you’re rooting for France …
Bastille Days is this weekend, although the festival’s budget doesn’t allow it to stream the match on the festival grounds. But several nearby pubs will have the game on — and you’ll be in sight of the festival’s Eiffel Tower.
If you’re rooting for Croatia …
The Croatian Eagles Soccer Club is hosting a viewing party Sunday at 10 a.m. in Croatian Park, 9100 S. 76th St., Franklin. The promised bill of fare: Bloody Marys, mimosas “and all your Croatian favorites.” Check the club’s website (croatianeagles.com) for details.
If you’re just rooting for a good time …
Many of Milwaukee’s soccer-centric spots will be showing Sunday’s finals. But some places are making it a bigger party than others.
Three Lions Pub, 4515 N. Oakland Ave., Shorewood, is shutting down Oakland Ave. in front of the Englishthemed pub for its World Cup finals street party, with prizes, entertainment and a Jumbotron.
