Continue Mueller investigation
The unfolding of the Mueller investigation is stunning and a heartbreaking turn of events for our great country. As things continue to unfold, I want to express my strong wish that the good investigative work that has happened thus far continues, unhampered by threats to end that investigation.
We have a country run by people. We are all people who make mistakes, make poor decisions, and must deal with the consequences of our actions, no matter our “rank” in society. I think these are lessons not learned by some until later in life when the stakes are high. Sadly, in this situation, the stakes are high for our whole country.
I urge Sen. Tammy Baldwin and Sen. Ron Johnson to not be afraid of a bully. I urge them and U.S. Rep. Jim Sensenbrenner to do what is right for the people they have agreed to represent. I hope our elected officials are not duped by people who care more about themselves than about those they agreed and pledged to serve.
We need to make laws or whatever needs to be done to protect the Mueller investigation and the man himself. It is the right thing to do. Our representatives would garner the respect of many across the aisle if they just do the right thing in the face of so many wrongs.
