Give thanks for spots open on Thanksgivi­ng

If you haven’t made reservatio­ns for Nov. 22, now’s the time. Some restaurant­s, including Timmer’s Resort in West Bend and the Copper Dock in Hubertus, are already booked.

Reservatio­ns in most cases are either required or strongly recommende­d:

MILWAUKEE COUNTY

Alioto’s Restaurant — Specials range from turkey ($18.95) to 10-ounce filet ($28.95). Dinner is served with soup or salad, potato and dessert; a menu for children is available. 11 a.m.-5 p.m. 3041 N. Mayfair Road, Wauwatosa. (414) 476-6900.

Devon Seafood + Steak — A threecours­e dinner ($38, or $19 for children 4 to 12) includes salad or soup, turkey with the trimmings, and a choice of dessert, such as apple croustade. Mader’s Restaurant — The first buffet, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., includes breakfast items, turkey, German dishes and more ($32.95, or $10.95 for children 10 and younger). Potawatomi Hotel & Casino — The Buffet has turkey and traditiona­l sides, ham, salmon and more ($24, or $22 for Fire Keeper’s Club); 11 a.m.-7 p.m. The Fire Pit Sports Bar & Grill will serve turkey breast with sides and pumpkin pie for $15; 11 a.m.-close or sold out. Tre Rivali — A buffet will have carving stations for roast turkey breast and confit legs and thighs, and for sausagestu­ffed pork loin ($65, or $25 for children 3 to 12). 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Until Dec. 24, the cafe will sell 5-inch pies ($10, half to Chefs Cycle charity); 9-inch pies available 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Nov. 21-22 or until sold out ($20, half to No Kid Hungry).
