The senior became the state's all-time leading rusher during a 23-carry, 237-yard performanc­e in the Crusaders' 55-7 victory over Cambridge on Friday. The effort pushed his total to 6,903 yards, The previous record of 6,870 was set by Iola Scandinavi­a's Bryce Huettner last season. Tenner enters the state quarterfin­als with 2,286 yards this season with 31 touchdowns and an average of 10.3 yards per carry. He has seven 200yard games.

The senior defensive back played only about one half Friday in the Sabers' 44-7 victory over Kenosha Indian Trail but he made the time count. He registered a firstquart­er safety and a 37-yard intercepti­on return for a touchdown in the second quarter. He finished with four tackles, including one for a loss as the Sabers held Indian Trail to 0 total yards.

The senior, an impact player on offense and defense, helped keep the Lightning' season alive by hitting field goals of 27 and 30 yards in the second quarter of a 13-6 overtime victory over Lomira.

The third-seeded Wolverines reached the state quarterfin­als for the seventh straight season with their 35-0 victory over No. 2 seed Wilmot. Senior quarterbac­k Brooks Blount completed 22 of 26 passes for 224 yards with three touchdowns. Two went to senior Devon Portz, who had four catches for 55 yards. Tate Peters, a junior linebacker who had nine tackles and one sack, and Pierce Hudson, a senior defensive back who had seven tackles, ranked 1-2 on the team tackles.

The fourth-seeded Demons avenged a

Week 8 loss to Waterford with a 24-18 win Friday over the top-seeded Wolverines, allowing them to advance to the third-round of the playoffs for the first time since 2005. Senior Dalton Damon ran for a 4-yard touchdown with 1 minute to play. He finished with 62 yards on 17 carries and completed eight of 21 passes for 160 yards, the biggest a 41-yard touchdown to Dylan Runkel in the third quarter. Junior Zach Wallace had a team-high 98 rushing yards. The production was part of 320 yards of total offense for the Demons, 114 more than the team had in a 49-14 loss to Waterford on Oct. 11.
