Teams of the week

Brookfield Central

For the third time in four seasons the Lancers have won the area's toughest conference. They assured themselves of at least a share of the Greater Metro crown by completing a sweep of Sussex Hamilton on the road Friday. The 78-73 victory was fueled by a big night from junior forward David Joplin, who had 36 points on 12-for-22 shooting and grabbed 10 rebounds. Senior forward Eric Radisevic added 14 points and eight steals. Junior guard Ben Nau posted 10 points, six rebounds and five assists.

Greendale

The Panthers did a handful of teams a favor in the Woodland West by upsetting first-place Wisconsin Lutheran to create the possibility of a three-way tie for the division championship. Four players scored in double figures – Will Brust (19 points), Matt Harrison (15), Matthew Schultz (14) and Marcus Calvert (11) – to help the Panthers win their fourth straight game.
