Patricia (Pat) Ann Haberski

WHITEWATER - (nee Guthman) was born to eternal life on May 22, 2020. She was born June 18, 1940 in Winona, MN to Grover and Mildred (nee Schneider) Guthman. She graduated from Pulaksi High School in 1958 and married David Haberski on June 28, 1958. They resided in Oak Creek, WI. Pat worked for the Milwaukee County Park System for over 30 years. She thoroughly enjoyed the outdoors, was an avid hunter and was knowledgea­ble about flowers, trees and birds. Pat was a founder and President of Happy Endings No Kill Cat Shelter for over 25 years until her first stroke. She also participat­ed in the Monarch Butterfly Migration Program. Pat is survived by her son, Ron and Sharon(nee Johnson) Haberski; her son-in-laws, Anthony Mordeszews­ki and Joe Hernandez; her brother, Robert Guthman(Shelley Gruber); her sisterin-law, Camille Guthman(nee Witkowski). She is further survived by her grandchild­ren, Joshua Hamburger, Katie Welman, Nicole(Jerome) Pettke, and great-grandchild­ren Angelina Hamburger; Mckensie and Michael Welman; Macenzie and Jordyn; nieces and nephews as well as other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughters, Diana Mordeszews­ki, Lois Hernandez; and her brother, Richard Guthman. Pat was under the care of Rainbow Hospice Services when she died after a brief illness. Special thanks to all her caregivers, Juanita Guthman, Heather Imsland, and Vanessa Guthman. There will be a memorial service at a later date with burial to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Happy Endings No Kill Cat Shelter.
