COLUMBUS, Ohio – Master Teague ran a career-high 169 yards and two touchdowns, Justin Fields accounted for three scores and Ohio State (4-0) held off a comeback bid by Michael Penix Jr., Ty Fryfogle and Indiana (4-1) on Saturday.

The Hoosiers rallied from a fourtouchd­own deficit in the second half and made it a one-score game with 10:26 left, when Penix and Fryfogle connected on a 56-yard touchdown.

NO. 19 NORTHWESTE­RN 17, NO. 10 WISCONSIN 7

EVANSTON, Ill. – Peyton Ramsey threw two touchdown passes and Northweste­rn (5-0) shut down Graham Mertz and Wisconsin (2-1) for a victory that put the undefeated Wildcats in control of the Big Ten West.

Northweste­rn forced five turnovers – four in the first half – and sacked Mertz three times in its first win over a top-10 team since a 28-25 victory over No. 9 Nebraska on Nov. 5, 2011. Ramsey, a graduate transfer from Indiana, was 23 for 44 for 203 yards, and Ramaud Chiaokhiao-Bowman had four receptions for 95 yards.

IOWA 41, PENN STATE 21

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – Spencer Petras completed 18 of 28 passes for 186 yards and ran for a touchdown to lead

Iowa over Penn State at Beaver Stadium.

Mekhi Sargent and Tyler Goodson combined for 179 rushing yards and three touchdown for the Hawkeyes (3-2), who won their third straight and snapped a six-game losing streak to Penn State (0-5).

LINCOLN, Neb. – Brandon Peters threw for one touchdown and ran for another in his first game in nearly a month, Illinois had two rushers go over 100 yards, and the Illini (2-3) beat turnover-plagued Nebraska (1-3) for their second straight win.

The Cornhusker­s won at Illinois last year despite committing four turnovers. They couldn’t survive five, though, as the Illini won in Lincoln for the first time since 1924.

FRIDAY MINNESOTA 34, PURDUE 31

MINNEAPOLI­S – Josh Aune’s intercepti­on with 44 seconds left at the Minnesota 13-yard line after a disputed penalty on Purdue gave the beleaguere­d Gophers (2-3) defense a big lift and preserved a victory over the Boilermake­rs (2-2).

Jack Plummer completed 35 of 42 passes for 367 yards and three scores in his first start of the season for Purdue, which took the ball with 2:01 left at its 39.
