The senior quarterbac­k led the Greyhounds to a 32-27 come-frombehind victory Friday on the road against West Allis Central. He completed 10 of 13 passes for 117 yards and rushed for a team-high 129 yards in 23 carries, a 5.6-yard average. He accounted for five touchdowns, including an 11-yard run in the fourth quarter that was the winning TD.

Defense

West Allis Hale was driving for a potential early touchdown Friday night when the junior defensive back picked off a pass and returned it 77 yards for a touchdown that set the tone for a 21-0 victory. He finished the night with eight tackles, six solo, and broke up three passes.

The senior kicker helped the Panthers score their first win of the season, 34-7, over Pius XI on Friday at Pritchard Park by hitting field goals of 39 and 29 yards and connecting on all four extra-point attempts.

Team of the week Milwaukee Lutheran

The Red Knights are off to a 3-0 start for the first time in 10 years, a mark reached Friday with a 12-6 road victory over previously undefeated Brown Deer. Lutheran trailed, 6-0, in the second quarter, but junior Aveon Williams tied the game with a 64-yard punt return 54 seconds before halftime. Williams also had a hand in the winning TD when he took the handoff on a jet sweep and fired a pass to senior Jordan Goodman for a 20-yard score with 11 minutes 42 seconds to play. The defense held Brown Deer to 160 yards. Senior defensive back Damien Joy led Lutheran with 11 tackle, while Jamille English, a senior linebacker, had eight tackles with one sack and Niles Williams, another senior linebacker, had six tackles with two sacks.
