-

On Tuesday, May 11, 2021, Maureen joined her husband Ned in Heaven. She is preceded in death by her mother Beatrice and her father Emmett. Maureen was born in Milwaukee on November 29, 1939. She grew up on the East Side and graduated from St. John’s Cathedral High School. She met the love of her life, Ned, and they were married in 1962. Ned died in 1998, but Maureen was never alone because he was always with her in spirit. Together they are survived by their children, Michael (Jenny), Gena (Jim) Beckers, Ned (Terry), Tony (Jeff), and Pat (Trisha). After Ned’s passing, she began working at St. Boniface in Germantown where she touched the lives of so many children and families during her time as school secretary. Maureen was the best grandma in the world to her 8 grandchildren: Maddie and Sam Torti; Ciara, Max, Sydney, and Allison Beckers; Kelly (Erich) LeClair, Jack Torti, and great grandson, Henry LeClair. She is also survived by cherished friends both old and new. Maureen leaves behind a WHOLE BUNCH OF S-U-DOUBLE-L-I-V-A-N family, including her brother Bob and her four sisters, Sharon, Susie, Kerry, Mary, and their families, nieces, nephews, and cousins both near and far. Her favorite things to do included watching old movies, reading, solving crossword puzzles, playing bingo, Rummikub and cards. She enjoyed going to the movies, making and sharing her own popcorn and drinking her wine. She cherished every second spending time with family and friends, especially during Packer games. We will miss her terribly. Visitation at Schramka-Densow Funeral Home, Thiensville, will be held on Sunday, May 16, from 4-6PM. Visitation at LUMEN CHRISTI 2750 West Mequon Road in Mequon, Monday, May 17 from 10AM until the time of the memorial service at 10:45AM.
