Sprecher switches to cans, and paczki orders have begun
Sprecher beer switching from bottles to cans
Sprecher’s seasonal and year-round beers, including its flagship Special Amber and signature Black Bavarian, are shifting from bottles to aluminum cans with a refreshed design of the classic griffin logo.
The new can label features a wraparound Sprecher griffin and the words “Fire-brewed for bold flavor.” Sprecher is one of the only breweries in the U.S. that use a fire brewing process, rather than steam-heated kettles, to create craft beer and soda.
Sprecher’s new packaging is reflective of the trend toward canning beer to increase convenience and freshness, while retaining environmentally friendly product packaging. For more information visit: sprecherbrewery.com/ beer-bottles-or-cans/

The company was founded by siblings Anne Cookson and Chris Miller, who have a family pedigree of pizza making since their grandfather owned a chain of pizza parlors in the Milwaukee area, and their parents founded Baker’s Quality Pizza Crusts Inc., based in Waukesha.
