State COVID cases, hospitaliz­ations continuing to rise

Data shows Wisconsin is experienci­ng an uptick in COVID-19 hospitaliz­ations across the state last week.

In the last seven days, there has been an increase of more than 100 COVID patients, according to the Wisconsin Hospital Associatio­n.

Currently, 356 people remain hospitaliz­ed, which is up 207 patients from a month ago.

Also, the state is experienci­ng an uptick in cases and positivity rate. The seven-day average of daily cases increased past 2,000 this week.
