SOUTH MILWAUKEE Judy Kovar (nee Blake) was called home to the Lord on May 10, 2022. Age 79. Beloved wife of Kenneth for 63 years. Loving mother of Kathy (Danny) and Kendra (Phil). Adored grandma of Amanda, Chad, Daniel Jr. (Yiomaris), Katelyn (Erik), Michelle, Rachael, Cameron, and Alex. Dearest great-grandma of Michael, Chasmine, Daniel III, Aniah, Julian, Danika, Zachariah, Aaliyah, James II, Loyalty, Braylon and Brady. Caring sister of James Blake and Daniel (Bev) Blake. Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Phil and Frances, her siblings, Mary, Phil, Tommy, and Patsy, her daughter Cindy, and her great-grandson James III. Judy will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, friends, and so many others to whom she was affectionately known as “Grandma”.

Judy’s greatest joys were spending time with her family and celebrating holidays. She had an extraordinary ability to make all those around her smile. She could cheer anyone up with a song, a dance, a story, or an appearance from “Mr. Getwell”. She also dedicated a significant amount of time sewing, creating dolls, organizing family ancestry, and working in the apparel industry. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her and fondly remembered for all the smiles she shared with the world.

The family is especially thankful for the longtime friendship and the care provided by Maria, and the kindness of her long-time friend Pat, and a close friend Kathy.

A Celebration of Judy’s Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the National Scleroderma Foundation (scleroderma. org) would be greatly appreciated by the family.
