MILWAUKEE - Born to eternal life on May 4, 2022 while surrounded by his loving family, Gordon lost a short battle with cancer. Gordon is survived by his loving wife, Trudy Miller; his children Carrie Miller-Esayian and Heidi Miller Patton (Tim) grand-children Troy and Jake Esayian and Trevor and Eric Patton, nephew Greg Miller (Jill), grandnephe­w Danny (Colleen), and David. Gordon was preceded in death by his brother, Ken Miller and sister in law, Beverly.

Gordon was born in Milwaukee on September 15, 1934 to Peter and Caroline Miller. He attended St. Aloysius Grade School in West Allis, attended Marquette High School and graduated from Nathan Hale High School in 1952. Gordon had the honor of being Class President his senior year. While in school, he also played basketball and received his varsity letter in golf. He was a member of the Wisconsin National Guard 32nd Infantry Division for 8 years. He began his insurance career at Northweste­rn Mutual Life Insurance Company and started his own Property and Casualty agency in 1965, retiring in 2017. Gordon was involved in the Profession­al Insurance Agents of Wisconsin, serving as President in 1978 and later as National Director. He was passionate about his career, helping his customers and meeting new people.

Gordon and Trudy loved to travel the world together. They enjoyed spending their free time at their lake cottage in Northern Wisconsin and sharing it with family and friends. Gordon loved golfing, snowmobili­ng, waterskiin­g, boating and spending time with family. He loved animals and over the years has had many beloved dogs.

Visitation on May 17 from 3pm to 4:30pm with mass to follow at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church (12130 W Center Street, Wauwatosa).
