WORLD OF OUTLAWS PREVIEW
The Jim “JB” Boyd Memorial doubleheader at Beaver Dam Raceway marks the second big sprint car weekend in Wisconsin – following a scheduled All Stars / IRA tripleheader that was cut to two nights due by rain last month – and the first appearance for the World of Outlaws this season.
It also is the most lucrative with the feature winner Friday earning $10,000 and the winner Saturday earning $20,000.
What is the schedule?
Grandstand gates open at 5 p.m. both Friday and Saturday with hot lap and qualifying beginning at 6:30 and opening ceremonies at 7:30.
How much do tickets cost?
Reserved seats for adults and teens are $45 and general admission are $40. Reserved seats for children through age 12 are $20, as are GA seats for those aged 6-12. Further information can be found and tickets purchased at slspromotions.com.
Are World of Outlaws races broadcast on television or streaming?

Do the World of Outlaws sprint cars race again in Wisconsin this year?
Yes. The series has a July 1-2 doubleheader weekend at Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond and a July 9 date at Wilmot Raceway on the Kenosha County Fairgrounds.
Who are the drivers to watch?
Brad Sweet swept the 2020 doubleheader to take his victory total at the track to four, including three straight. The three-time series champion leads the standings by 64 points over David Gravel.
Sheldon Haudenschild won the track’s single event last year for his first win at Beaver Dam.
Carson Macedo is tied with Haudenschild for the series lead with five victories. He is third in the standings, two points behind Gravel. He has won at the track with the IRA Sprints in 2017.
Ten-time Outlaws champion Donny Schatz is a two-time winner at Beaver Dam (2002, 2015). He has competed in 28 of the 29 Outlaws races there.
Kraig Kinser (2012) is the only other current series regular on the Beaver Dam Outlaws winners list.
