‘BROS,’ BEER AND ‘BOO!’
‘Bros' before brews? This weekend, the movies have both, along with the beginning of the tsunami of Halloweencentric horror stuff.
Here's what's new in Milwaukeearea theaters starting Friday, as well as some of the new movies available on streaming and on demand this week.
‘Bros’
Short version: Comedian Billy Eichner stars in what's being touted as the first romantic comedy from a major studio about two men — in this case, seemingly mismatched guys (Eichner, Luke MacFarlane) who both have commitment issues. The movie, getting some of the season's best reviews so far, is directed by Nicholas Stoller (“Forgetting Sarah Marshall”), who co-wrote the screenplay with Eichner.
