WEST ALLIS - Vincent J. Frittitta of West Allis, Wisconsin passed away on February 6, 2023 after a brief battle with cancer. He was born on 12/12/1937 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to John and Concetta Frittitta. Vince, as he was known, was a graduate of Boys Technical High School and worked many jobs over the years. He served honorably in the US Air Force, then went on to work as a contractor for Miller Brewing fixing bottling lines that were in disrepair. Later, Vince went on to work for Miller Park as a parking attendant, a job he enjoyed enormously. Known for his winsome smile and a hardworkin­g nature he has been an active part of his local Italian American community. He served as a Catholic altar boy with his two brothers, was a member of the Italian Community Center, and could be found in a good local eatery enjoying an Italian sausage or good smoked fish. Vince was a devoted husband to Rosemarie for 63 years until her death in 2021. Since then, he developed an especially fond relationsh­ip with nephew, Mathew and was a proud godfather to nephew, David. He is preceded in death by wife Rosemarie, brother John, and nephew Daniel. Survived by brother Anthony (wife Audrey), nephews and nieces: David (Karen), Michelle (Brian Adams), Margaret (Patty) and Mathew (Phyllis). Vince will be missed by many. A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 16th from 11:00AM to 1:00PM at Church and Chapel Funeral home, 7626 W Greenfield Avenue, West Allis. Funeral services will follow at 1:00PM A burial will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery at 2:00PM Our family would like to thank the people of Froedert Hospital who did an exceptiona­l job in the last weeks caring for our beloved Vince. Arrangemen­ts are under the direction of Church and Chapel Funeral Home in West Allis, WI.
