WAUWATOSA, WI Passed away peacefully on August 21, 2023 at the age of 85.

Loving husband of Margaret (Peplinski) for 52 years. Together, they built a beautiful life and raised three children: Eric (Amy), Jennifer, and Kurt (Meagan). Daniel took great pride in his five grandchild­ren: Zandrine, Zion, Walden, Emerson, and Kai. Dear brother to William (Robin) and the late David (Penelope). His bond with his siblings was a source of great joy and comfort throughout his life.

Daniel was a master craftsman, particular­ly in the realm of stained glass. For 45 years, he dedicated his talents and expertise as the head of Wauwatosa Glass. His creations brought and restored beauty and light to countless homes and businesses. Throughout his career, he fostered a diverse and vibrant community of friends and family, employing them as artists, laborers, and entreprene­urs.

In his retirement, Daniel discovered new sources of joy and fulfillmen­t. He formed a deep bond with his beloved dog and loyal companion, Ernie. Daniel also found solace and expression through playing the violin and constructi­ng model airplanes. He formed new friendship­s at the Hart Park Senior Center.

His sense of adventure and wonder never wavered, and those who knew him could always count on him to share his unique perspectiv­e on life. You never knew what Dan was going to say, but you knew he had a lot to say about it.

Daniel’s legacy lives on through the memories shared by his family, friends, and the countless lives he touched throughout his lifetime.

A Celebratio­n of Life will be held on Sunday, September 3, 2023, at the Grand Hall at Hoyt Park, 1800 N. Swan Blvd, from 11:00AM-2:00 PM.
