Wisconsin program seeks nonprofit leaders

Harvard Business School Club offers scholarshi­ps

The Harvard Business School Club of Wisconsin is inviting nonprofit leaders to apply for scholarshi­ps to its nonprofit leadership program.

The applicatio­n process opens Feb. 1 and lasts through Feb. 29. The program takes place July 28 through Aug. 3. Interested applicants can visit www.hbswi.com to learn more.

The program proves an opportunit­y for nonprofit leaders to share experience­s and gain insights from peers and Harvard Business School faculty.

To qualify, applicants must have 10 years of profession­al experience, and have served at least one year as president,

CEO or executive director of the Wisconsin nonprofit organizati­on they wish to represent. The organizati­on must have a minimum of five to six fulltime employees, an annual operating budget of at least $1 million and has been fully operationa­l with several fulltime staff for at least one year.

“Since 1998, we’ve had the privilege of granting 65 scholarshi­ps to deserving Wisconsin nonprofit executives. It’s rewarding to see the impact of our awardees putting into practice their learnings both at their organizati­ons and the broader community”, said Ellen Galezewski, president of the Harvard Business School Club of Wisconsin.

The winning recipients will be recognized at the 2024 Wisconsin Business Leader of the Year Dinner, sponsored by the club and Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. Proceeds from the annual event fund the scholarshi­p.
