THE FACE OF FINE DINING
JACK SOSNOWSKI | RARE STEAKHOUSE
Rare Steakhouse, which opened a year ago in downtown Milwaukee, has quickly become one of the city’s premier dining experiences. Created by Wisconsin native Jack Sosnowski, Rare Steakhouse features USDA Prime steaks, top-of-the-line seafood and the largest restaurant wine list in the state. Rare Steakhouse prides itself on a classic yet cozy setting, complete with private dining rooms and space equipped with technology for meeting and conference capabilities. Inspired by the old nostalgic romance of great American steakhouses, Sosnowski took the best, iconic elements of a steakhouse and added in a local Wisconsin flair to create the Rare Steakhouse experience. In addition to its diverse, quick and affordable lunch menu and one of the best dinners in town, Rare Steakhouse is also quickly becoming the go-to happy hour spot thanks in part to its half-priced appetizers, half-priced wines by the glass and $8 specialty cocktails. In addition to their locations in Milwaukee and Madison, Rare Steakhouse will open their first out-of-state flagship location this fall in Washington, DC, three blocks from the White House. Rare Steakhouse is open for lunch Mondays – Fridays from 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM. Dinner service is 5:00 – 10:00 PM Monday – Thursday, 5:00 – 11:00 PM on Fridays and Saturdays and 5:00 – 9:00 PM on Sundays. Rare’s bar is open daily, starting at 11:00 AM. Reservations can be made online, through OpenTable and by phone at 414-273-7273.
