Milwaukee’s Littlest Libraries
IN 2009 Todd H. Bol built the world’s first Little Free Library in Hudson, Wis., repurposing an old door into a book repository fashioned to look like a one-room schoolhouse.
Why? He wanted to bring his community closer together, and motivate them to read more often.
Today, there are over 70,000 Little Free Libraries around the world, and 98 are registered in Milwaukee. Here are a few of our favorites.
