One of my favorite casual spots is this off-the-beaten-path haunt, known for an off-the-charts-good mac and cheese with goat, cheddar and Gorgonzola (add chicken or andouille). Get there on Tuesday night for the $10 mussels deal (2 pounds, served with two sauces that change weekly). Or catch Thursday night’s $5 appetizers, such as ginger pork wontons and crisp fried Brussels sprouts. And during Happy Hour, Tues-Sat 4-6 p.m., half-pound burgers are $5 and the mac and cheese is $6,25. The restaurant name refers to the Celtic three-spiral symbol. The menu follows suit with its trio of categories – meat, seafood and vegetarian.
