Desert Skymaster 336

Built from Wendell Hostetler plans, this impressive Cessna Skymaster 336 is the work of Steve Peckham of Norfolk, Virginia. Weighing in at 54 pounds, the unusual inline twin-engine observation airplane is powered by a Zenoah GT-74 twin in the front and a Zenoah G-62 in the rear, and it has a wingspan of 120 inches. The Skymaster is finished in a U.S. Air Force Desert scheme, painted with exterior latex house paint. Both engines swing 22x10 propellers. The 336 is 26 percent scale and features airbrakes.
