Gor­geous Gun­ship

Built and flown by Trent Wil­helm of Sal­is­bury, North Carolina, this ag­gres­sive gun­ship was built from an old dis­con­tin­ued Amer­i­can Ea­gle B-25 kit, and it has a span of 110 inches. “Bones” is more than 15 years old and is pow­ered by a pair of Zenoah G-38s. With more than 150 flights on it, the model has Ro­bart re­tractable land­ing gear and is painted with au­to­mo­tive acrylic paints. It weighs in at 40 pounds and is con­trolled by a Spek­trum DX18 ra­dio.
